The Town of Renfrew is working on a landmark Cultural Plan and wants to hear what you have to say.
Town staff and DCarr Community Solutions will be holding a series of in-person sessions this weekend, looking to engage the community to hear perspectives, stories, and insights about what makes Renfrew truly special.
The goal is to uncover and gain a better understanding of arts, culture, and heritage within Renfrew that will help town staff put together a strategy that supports the programs, activities, and opportunities the community wants to see support local social needs, economic growth, and tourism development.
If you’re interested, here’s where town officials tell myFM they will be over the weekend:
- Golden Age Activity Centre: Friday, January 19, 2024: 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- Renfrew Town Hall Council Boardroom: Friday, January 19, 2024: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Renfrew Public Library Program Room: Saturday, January 20, 2024: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Ma-te-Way Activity Centre Lobby: Sunday, January 21, 2024: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (and FREE public skate)
Residents who can’t make it out to any of the sessions can still take part through an online survey the town has put together.
