The clean up begins after the first major winter storm of 2024. Luckily, the aftermath doesn’t appear to be that bad. However, all school bus transportation across Renfrew County has been shut down once again today. Environment Canada’s Winter Storm Warning has come to an end and Hydro One is reporting one small power outage near Comberemere. Power is expected to be restored by about 10 o’clock this morning. As for the road conditions, Ontario 511 says that Highway 17 from Petawawa to Arnprior is in good shape with other highways such has 60 and 41 reporting partially snow covered. Municipal road crews are out this morning working to clear the roads so some travel delays can be expected.
