A drug trafficking investigation in Renfrew has led to the arrest of two area residents.
Renfrew OPP’s local Community Street Crime Unit has charged 48-year-old Sherra White on nine counts, including:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine- two counts
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon – two counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – two counts
- Unlawfully at large
- Failing to comply with the probation order
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
White remains in custody following a bail hearing.
30-year-old Brian Wallace was also arrested in connection with the investigation on three counts:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
He’s set to appear in court in early February, and police add that their investigation into the case is ongoing.
