The start of a new year means Frewfest is just around the corner, and it’s looking for your help.
This year’s version of the fan favourite winter carnival will run over the Family Day long weekend in February, featuring guided snowshoeing, sledge hockey, puppets, inflatable climbing, public skating, a special discount on a Renfrew Wolves game that weekend, and more.
But what about the food? Renfrew’s Program Specialist, Janyne Fraser, is reaching out for a hand on that Sunday.
She adds that working with local groups is an important aspect of putting together the best possible events for the community.
Even if your group’s expertise lies outside the world of cooking, Fraser says their current needs for the event extend beyond breakfast.
