It’s an exciting time for Renfrew’s Recreation Centre as they get ready for their new digs.
The town’s acting director of Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations, Janet Collins, has spoken with councillors, naming January 15th as the beginning of the end for their time at the current facility on Argyle Street.
Collins says that you will notice that some of the programs that you would usually find at the current building will be found elsewhere as they begin to wind down operations.
It’s all in preparation of having everything Rec Centre-related, from the programming to the gym, moved into the myFM Centre by March 31st.
Also, starting January 15th, the Argyle Street Rec Centre will no longer be available to rent out.
