It may be “the most wonderful time of the year,” but Christmas does mean some stores and services in Renfrew will be unavailable.
Renfrew’s Wal-Mart, Giant Tiger, Metro, and Chris and Tanya’s No Frills will all stay closed on Christmas Monday, as will our local LCBO and Beer Store.
Pharmacy needs will need to wait until Boxing Day at the earliest, as both Rexall and Aikenhead’s will stay closed for Christmas.
Local banks and the post office are also taking the day off. There will be no mail delivery today, either.
Renfrew Town Hall and the Public Library will reopen on Wednesday, December 27th, but town staff tell myFM that garbage collection will happen as usual between December 26th and the 28th.
