This weekend’s snowfall ushered in the official end of ATV season along the Algonquin Trail.
ATV access to the recreational trail closed over the weekend and will stay closed until May 1st.
Until then, the Trail’s official Facebook page is celebrating the start of snowmobile season, encouraging trail users to embrace the change of seasons and enjoy our local trail system responsibly.
The nearly 300-kilometer-long Algonquin Trail, also known as the Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail outside of Renfrew County, stretches from Smiths Falls to just shy of Mattawa.
