A driver in Calabogie was rescued from a partially submerged vehicle by quick thinking neighbours and emergency responders.
On Tuesday, November 28th, local emergency crews were called out after police were advised that a dump truck lost control and rolled into the marsh on Barryvale Road.
Reports say that nearby neighbour entered the water and located the driver. It was determined that the driver was trapped, and they were attempting to cut the seatbelt.
Once on scene, officers jumped into the water to join the rescue and the driver was safety recovered.
The driver and responding officers were transported to a local hospital.
