The Streetlight Theatre Company’s musical production of Disney’s Frozen is captivating families across the Ottawa Valley.
The theatre troupe’s junior Broadway stars will bring the world of Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life at Pembroke’s Festival Hall starting tonight, Friday, November 17th.
The show features a wide cast of young talent, according to producer Melanie McClelland.
Ainsleigh McGinnis tells myFM that she’s put a lot of character study into her role as Elsa, something she’s had a lot of fun with.
The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
McClelland says that she will not be upset if you find yourself joining in for “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” or “Let it Go.”
Opening weekend kicks off at Festival Hall in Pembroke with a 7:00 p.m. showing on Friday, November 17th, followed by a pair of 2:00 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $30 each for balcony seats or $35 to sit in the orchestra section.
