A major police operation is underway in the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation. Police from Killaloe OPP, the Renfrew County Crime Unit, Smiths Falls Forensic Identification Unit and OPP Criminal Investigations Branch are currently investigating an incident that took place last night. At this time police are not releasing further details as the investigation is in it’s early stages. However, you should expect a higher than normal police presence and there is no threat to public safety. Stay with us for the latest.
