As the colours change in Renfrew, town staff already have a plan to pick up the impending yard waste.
This week is one of three this autumn where Renfrew residents can set out bags of yard waste and bound bundles of twigs and branches out for collection.
Bundles should be no more than 1.5 meters (5 feet) long or 0.6 metres (2 feet) in diameter, and the town is asking that you make sure each bundle or bag weighs under 50 pounds for the sake of the people picking it up.
It may not happen on your usual garbage day, so have your yard waste ready by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. If you miss out on this chance, your next opportunities will be in the weeks of October 23rd and November 6th.
You can also deliver yard waste to the Renfrew Landfill any time, year-round.
