During the early hours of September 17, 2023, just before 12:30 a.m., officers from the Killaloe OPP conducted a R.I.D.E. program in the vicinity of Opeongo Line in Madawaska Valley. Their attention was drawn to an ATV, which they subsequently pulled over for inspection. This encounter led to the apprehension of 22-year-old Jack Farrell, a resident of McNab-Braeside Township.
Farrell now faces charges for operating a conveyance while impaired and operating a conveyance with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. Following his arrest, he was released from custody and is slated to appear in Pembroke court on October 25, 2023. Furthermore, Farrell’s driver’s license has been suspended for a duration of 90 days, and his ATV was subjected to towing and impoundment.
