Annually, the Town of Arnpior shows its commitment to the future by waiving the rental fees for 2360 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets.
At Town Council September 11th, elected representatives renewed the kindness yet another year, following a briefing from Recreation Director Graeme Ivory- and a presentation from the local group’s Commanding Officer, Greg Kibble-Sartorelli.
The Commanding Officer says it’s not about recruitment for the military.
Many on Council spoke to the importance of the Cadet program to their own families, and, in effect, Kibble-Sartorelli was speaking to the converted.
Representatives were unanimous in approving the Recreation Director’s recommendation.
