Dentistry @ Renfrew is expecting a busy weekend as they prepare to host Dentistry has Heart.
Dental hygienist Raelyn Warren says that anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to drop in for free select dental services from 9:00am to closing on Saturday, September 16th.
She adds that you don’t even need to be one of their patients in order to take part, and that the event is a perfect opportunity for people who may not always have the means to get the work done.
It is first come, first served on Saturday, with residents who do drop in eligible for your choice between a complete dental exam with x-rays, two extractions, or two fillings.
She says the Dentistry has Heart event has already helped dozens of people in the Arnprior and Almonte areas this summer.
Raelyn says that the appreciation they’ve seen from the community has been humbling, with local businesses having shown amazing support with donations for the day.
So far, 77 people in the Ottawa Valley have taken advantage of this summer’s Dentistry Has Heart events, with a grand total of $47,085 worth of dental work performed free of charge.
Raelyn adds that people who do make the trip to their Renfrew office this weekend should expect a line-up, as she would not be surprised to see the turnout to be even bigger than what they’ve already seen this year.
