An drunk driver from Thunder Bay is facing charges after a police tracked them down on our local highways last week.
Renfrew OPP responded to a traffic complaint regarding a driver heading east along Highway 17 just before 9:00pm last Wednesday, September 6th.
Officers would eventually catch up with the 41-year-old driver on Highway 417 in McNab-Braeside, where they were arrested for the following charges:
- Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Driving while under suspension
The accused has since been released ahead of a Pembroke court appearance in late October.
