A 44-year-old from Bonnechere Valley is facing charges after a crash along Highway 60 in North Algona Wilberforce. Just before 7:30pm on September 9th, emergency crews were called out to a collision near McNee Road. It appeared that an SUV struck a van that was parked on the side of the road. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand. The section of highway was closed for about 4 hours due to an investigation.
