A three vehicle collision at the intersection of Calabogie Road and Highway 17 resulted in minor injuries to occupants of the vehicles involved.
It is reported that at about 2:36PM, one vehicle attempted a westbound turn onto the highway, but was struck by another westbound vehicle already travelling the route.
As the two vehicles spun out from the impact of the crash, a third vehicle collided with each.
Minor injuries were sustained by the five occupants of all three vehicles, and Renfrew County Paramedics transported the five patients to Arnprior and District Hospital as a precuation.
The crash snarled traffic in all directions.
A police investigation continues, but no charges have yet been laid.
