Hospice Renfrew provides palliative care free of charge and is staffed 24/7.
August 18th will see a full house at the Dragonfly Golf Course in Renfrew.
The Hospice Renfrew Golf Classic has officially sold out, according to organizer Kevin Cherry, who says that he and wife Casey have been busy securing sponsors, vendors, and prizes to make the day fun for everyone taking part.
He adds that selling out the day is an important milestone for their signature annual event, as the proceeds from the Golf Classic help to ensure the continued operation of the Hospice, which offers end-of-life care for people from across the entire Ottawa Valley.
While it is too late to reserve a tee time, you can still take part. Cherry says the chance for a local business or organization to sponsor a hole or donate a prize is still open.
You can find out what is still available by emailing hospicerenfrewclassic@gmail.com. You can also view and download a sponsorship pledge form on the Hospice Renfrew website.
