The first major hurdle for our local Junior A Hockey teams will happen in early October.
The Central Canada Hockey League will host its annual Fall Showcase from October 8th to the 10th, as all 12 teams in the CCHL head to the Bell Sensplex in West Ottawa and the Richcraft Sensplex in East Ottawa to play a trio of regular season games.
Not only do the games count, but they’ll play under the watchful eyes of scouts and recruiters from the professional, collegiate, and major junior leagues, who are looking for skilled players to join their ranks.
