A perfect day at the Renfrew Golf Club has turned into a quite a bit of money for charity.
The Renfrew OPP’s first annual 911 Swing for the Cause Golf Tournament teed off back on June 16th, with our local first responders welcoming in area businesses and community members to the Renfrew Golf Club.
The detachment says the day went off without a hitch, raising over $6,000 in support of the Renfrew and District Food Bank.
Our local police are looking forward to hosting the tournament in the future, as they plan to pick a different cause to support each year.
