Here’s a reminder that uttering threats is a serious crime in the eyes of local police.
Killaloe OPP say officers were called to a home within Madawaska Valley Township just after 1:00 pm back on Tuesday, June 27th, regarding threats being made against the caller.
Police would investigate and eventually arrest a 73-year-old from Madawaska Valley on one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm as a result.
The accused, who is not being named to protect the identity of the victim, was later released ahead of an August 9th court appearance in Pembroke.
