The Ottawa Valley is well known for its music, and Mill Music has been helping to keep that spirit alive for decades.
The store located along Renfrew’s downtown core will celebrate 40 years of serving our community in style all day on Saturday, June 17th.
These festivities have been a long time coming for owner Steve St. Michael, a travelling musician who took a chance on setting up shop in Renfrew soon after settling down.
Store Manager Richard Collins says delivering good products and continuing service to the community is the reason why they have struck the right cord with their customers long after many of the other music shops in the area decided to pack up.
That longevity means that both have the distinct privilege of inspiring multiple generations of Renfrew residents to develop an interest in music.
Mill Music’s anniversary sale runs from open to close on Saturday, June 17th, with door prize draws for 10 acoustic guitars, discounts on stock throughout the store, and live entertainment featuring long-time friends the Good Brothers and other local artists.
