A bad license plate recently led to more problems for a Renfrew resident.
Renfrew OPP say that they pulled over a car on Haig Avenue after spotting the improper plates at around 2:30pm on Tuesday, June 6th.
As part of that investigation, the 58-year-old from Renfrew behind the wheel would be charged with the following:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance- opioid (other than heroin)
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle
- Driving while under suspension
They would be held in custody for bail.
