The other shoe has dropped in the Town of Arnprior’s roads closure announcement, but to be fair, Transnomis notifications are only formatted for one message at at time.

Starting Monday morning there are offsetting closures to both the east and west of Daniel Street South in uptown Arnprior.
Edey Street will be closed at the corner with Daniel from Monday morning at 8AM until September 15th, and at the adjacent- but not yet parallel corner, Galvin Street will be closed over the same timeframe, from Daniel to Morall Court.
The two cross-streets are being reconfigured to intersect.
A rather lengthy detour will handle traffic on the Edey Street side, but this is not an option for the Galvin Street portion of the work.
