It’s a big milestone for a country artist hailing from Fort Coulonge.
Michaela Cahill is celebrating the release of her first solo single, Only Exception, which will make its way on to all streaming platforms and YouTube early in the morning on Friday, May 26th.
She tells myFM that she’s thankful that her community has had her back for years, including in 2020, when she was a finalist on the French Canadian version of the reality television show “The Voice.”
Releasing this track is part of much bigger plans for Michaela, which include performing across Renfrew County in the near future.
There’s nothing better than celebrating a major accomplishment with those closest to you, and Michaela says that she’s marking the occasion with a private gathering with friends and family at a café in downtown Fort Coulonge.
Keep an eye out for the full album featuring Only Exception, which is expected to be ready sometime next spring.
