Taste of the Valley vendors wanted more consistency with each event, and the County of Renfrew has answered.
David Wybou, Renfrew County’s Business Development Officer, is expecting another excellent turnout for the annual event, which makes stops at locations throughout the region to give locals a chance to meet with the people who make the best that the Ottawa Valley has to offer.
This time around, all Taste of the Valley events are on Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm starting with the first show on August 12th in Eganville.
Another thing that Wybou expects will be a welcome change is a clampdown on resellers offering goods from outside the region, which began to pop up at some events in 2022.
Wybou says Taste of the Valley is home to anywhere from 40 to 150 vendors at any given event, depending on the venue, and spaces tend to fill up quickly.
If you’d like to show off your wares this year, he says to get over to the Taste of the Valley website as soon as possible to avoid being left out.
