The Renfrew County 55+ Summer Games features 18 events spread the length from Deep River to Arnprior over the period of early May through June 6th.
Glenn Arthur is helping to put together the two events being hosted by Arnprior.
Renfrew has 5-pin bowling May 15th.
Petawawa hosts Floor Shuffleboard May 11th, and Tennis June 3rd. Pembroke’s event is Bid Euchre May 16th.
Arnprior hosts Carpet Bowling May 16th.
Arthur says Pickleball activities occur over two separate days.
McNab-Braeside is up for Prediction Walking and Nordic Walking on May 9th, Euchre on May 30th and Cycling on June 6th.
Arthur says participation costs are reasonable- and generally involve 15 dollars to join the Ontario Senior Summer Games Association, plus 3 dollars per event- with two exceptions.
The Renfrew County 55+ Games spokesperson says as long as you’re signed up 10 days before your planned event, you’re in.
You can call Glenn Arthur at 613-862-4899 or Irene Churchill at 613-633-1851 or see your local recreation department of seniors active living centre.
