There will be plenty to talk about at Wednesday night’s Annual General Meeting for the Renfrew Minor Hockey Association.
Current President Mike McMahon says parents and adults involved in our local minor hockey association can drop in to upstairs lounge inside the Ma-te-Way Centre to get an idea of what next year will look like.
McMahon adds that one of the positions up for election this year is his own, and that he will not be putting his hat into the ring for another two-year term.
He says there’s one main goal for the person who ends up taking over the role.
The full roster of open positions includes two-year terms for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Referee-in-Chief, Ice Allocator, and Webmaster, as well as a one year term as Senior Convenor for the league.
The RMHA will also be honouring one of their late members at the meeting, with McMahon calling it a reward for Bill Ringrose’s service as Treasurer and Referee-in-Chief over the years.
The Renfrew Minor Hockey Association’s Annual General Meeting is Wednesday, April 19th starting inside the Ma-te-Way Centre at 7:00pm.
