Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has identified the victim killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning along Highway 17 in Petawawa. Just after 6:30, emergency crews were called out to the scene east of Black Bay Road. The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 27-year-old from Petawawa, died at the scene. The driver and a passenger of the tractor-trailer unit were not injured. Highway 17 was closed between Black Bay Road and Doran Road for about 12 hours for an investigation. No charges are expected to be laid.
