A new event is set to take over Ma-te-Way Park this summer.
The Town of Renfrew’s Communications Coordinator Jenna McEwan tells myFM more about the Renfrew Roots Music Festival coming up Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th.
The festival is part of the town’s continued efforts to support local, featuring 10 acts either from or containing members from the Renfrew County area.
McEwan says their current line-up is packed with talent.
The two-day event will feature a fully licenced festival ground and a full bar for patrons to enjoy, as well as local food vendors and a few means to get to and from the event without having to fend off traffic.
The Ghost Town Criers, Riley New Band, Rainwater Whisky, Jason Blaine, Yan-Nick Michaud, Elyse Saunders, Lemon Cash, The Abrams, The Timber Line, and Rivertown Saints will all be performing live during the festival, with tickets starting at $65.
McEwan says to keep an eye on the Town of Renfrew’s social media feeds for updates in the lead-up the Renfrew Roots Music Festival.
