Teacher Against Poverty Renfrew are brining back their fundraising events.
Local teacher and TAP member Cigi Golden tells myFM their Mom Prom during the evening of Saturday, April 15th at the RCAF Wing, 167 Argyle Street South.
It’s the first big-scale fundraiser that our local Teacher’s Against Poverty chapter are putting on since the start of the pandemic and will be a fun, women-only event featuring food from the Backyard Gourmet and music through the decades from DJ Shanon.
Golden says it’s all in support of local students and families in need.
A table of eight can be booked for $320 (or $40 a seat) by e-transfer, but Golden says not to worry if you’re a smaller group or just a party of one. Purchase the tickets you need and they will find a table with open space just for you.
There are tickets still available, but Golden says they’d like to hear from you as soon as possible so they can mail out your printed tickets starting by the end of this week.
