38 dogs have been rescued after a police investigation into animal cruelty in Brudenell, Lyndoch, and Raglan.
Killaloe OPP were called out to a residence in the township during the afternoon of Tuesday, March 7th.
After an investigation at the scene, they would arrest 40-year-old Tracy Knight of Brudenell, Lyndoch, and Raglan for:
- Cruelty to animals – unnecessary pain and suffering; and,
- Cause damage or injury to animal or bird – fail to provide suitable, adequate food, water, care, or shelter.
Knight has since been released on conditions and will appear in Killaloe for a May 10th court date.
Police are thanking local animal rescue agency Riverview Rescues for their assistance in taking in all 38 dogs which were surrendered in the arrest, who are now receiving care.
