The Village of Bryson in the Pontiac Region is set for weekend two of its Winter Festival.
Organizer and volunteer Meghan Griffin says it’s all been part of ringing in Bryson’s 150th anniversary this year.
This weekend will be highlighted by a father-daughter semi-formal dance at the RA Center from 7:00pm to 9:30pm on Friday, February 10th, followed by a mother-son semi-formal on Saturday, February 11th at the same time.
There will also be a fishing derby along Bertrand’s Bay from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, weather and ice conditions pending.
Griffin adds to keep an eye on the Bryson 150th Facebook Page for event details, programming changes, and other surprises coming to town.
She also says not to worry if you miss out on the Winter Festival, because their 150th Anniversary celebrations are set to continue through the year.
Griffin says a Summer Festival is also on the way for August, and to watch their facebook page later this year as details roll in.
