Environment Canada’s Winter Storm warning continues to wreak havoc on the Ottawa Valley. Weather experts say that we could see another 5 centimeters of snowfall before it tapers off late this afternoon. Strong gusts of wind could also whip local snow back into the air and lower visibility on the roads. The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium says all school buses in the region are canceled, in addition, all school buses serving the French public and catholic schools are not running today. Environment Canada suggests holding off on any non-essential travel until conditions improve.
