The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and Deep River Police Service have laid second degree murder charges after investigating a death in Deep River. Police were called out for a well-being check on Rutherford Avenue in Deep River just before 8:30pm on December 11th. The OPP says one person was found deceased and their identity remains under investigation.
41-year-old Adam Rossi of Deep River has been arrested and charged with second degree murder and indignity to a body. The accused was held for a bail hearing today (December 12th) at the Pembroke courthouse.
