Killaloe OPP have laid several criminal charges after responding to multiple domestic incidents in the last week.
On November 23rd, officers were called to Bonnechere Valley and charged a 37-year-old with six counts of failure to comply with release conditions and mischief. The OPP says the accused was not granted bail and remains in custody.
On November 26th, the OPP responded to an assault call in Madawaska Valley and charged a 34-year-old with two counts of domestic assault and domestic mischief. The OPP says the accused was released with conditions.
On November 27th, officers were called out to North-Algona-Wilberforce and arrested a 33-year-old from Bonnechere Valley who was charged with domestic assault and careless storage of a firearm. The OPP says the accused was released on conditions.
The same day (November 27th), the OPP was called out to Madawaska Valley and charged a 55-year-old with domestic assault, uttering threats and two counts of mischief. The OPP says the accused was released on conditions.
Local police are withholding the names of the accused to protect the identity of the victims.
Officers in Arnprior and Renfrew also investigating five domestic disputes over the last week with no charges laid.
