A resident from Renfrew County is facing second degree murder charges.
Over the Thanksgiving long weekend, the OPP announced charges against 32-year-old David Michael Dubois of McNab/Braeside have been upgraded.
Dubois was charged with attempted murder back on January 4th after 32-year-old Sara McKeddie of Arnprior was taken to hospital with life-threatening.
McKeddie died from those injuries on January 20th.
Dubois was arrested shortly after the original incident took place and is scheduled to appear in court on October 27th.
