Kyle Cybulski is running for council in Renfrew and believes in listening to the needs of the people.
Cybulski, a construction project manager by trade, believes a growing desire from residents for change around town comes from an increase of improvements to some sections of Renfrew.
He also says the town can’t forget about its residents when it decides to increase accessibility or information sharing and should prioritize them like they’ve recently done for businesses.
Cybulski points out that there are already platforms like social media that should be better used to provide and receive feedback from people in town.
It’s part of a need for Renfrew to grow in order to survive. In Cybulski’s opinion, the town needs to attract new residents, businesses, and recreation in order to pay for the increasing costs the town will incur.
He would like to lobby commercial industry as part of council to support those endeavors, like bringing in a hotel that could help build a public pool.
Kyle Cybulski is one of eight people running for council in the upcoming election, alongside Jason Legris, Brady Enright, Andrew Dick, Adam Laviolette, Clint McWhirter, Guy Longtin, and John McDonald.
Renfrew votes for its new council, as well as Mayor and for the remaining school board trustee position on October 24th.
