After dropping the season opener to the Carleton Place Canadians, the Renfrew Wolves poured in a dominant performance against Nepean. Joey Kennedy opened the scoring for the Wolves at 1:56 of the first period. Slack and Hylands assisted on the goal. Dylan Paron then put the Wolves up by two a the 15:42 mark of the first. Scullion and Vom Scheidt had helpers on the tally as well. The game went one-sided when Tyson Tomasini netted his first of the campaign early in the second to put the Wolves up by three. Vom Scheidt then added his first of the year later in the second. Nepean battled back in the third with a pair of goals to bring the game close, but Elvis Slack put the nail in the coffin, scoring this first of the year on the power play at 19:14 of the third. The Renfrew Wolves return to action on Friday night when they head to Smiths Falls to battle the Bears. Game time is 7:30.
