Drunk driving is bad enough, but doing it near a public park is even worse.
Officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP were sent to Petawawa’s Earl Street park just after 10:00pm on Sunday, September 4th, where they found a car stuck near a children’s play structure.
The driver of the vehicle was tested on site before being sent to the local detachment for more screening.
The 29 year old from Horton would then be charged with drunk driving, and will appear in a Pembroke Courtroom on October 4th.
