While this year’s Renfrew Fair can be considered a success, Renfrew OPP say one drunk driver’s trip through the area was not.
Officers pulled their car over at about 11:30 on Saturday, September 10th night after becoming concerned for the safety of people walking home from fair.
The driver, a 20-year-old from Burnstown, would eventually be brought in on the following charges:
- Impaired Driving,
- Driving with a Blood Alcohol Concentration over 80,
- Young Driver- BAC above zero,
- Unnecessary Noise, and
- Stunt Driving
He would be released from custody, but not before scheduling an court appointment on October 19th in Pembroke.
