Local reaction continues to pile in following the death of Queen Elizabeth the second. Lyn Smith from the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network grew up in England and knows how much the royal family is loved. Smith says no one will ever live up to the Queen.
Like many across the world, Smith was heart broken to hear the passing of Queen Elizabeth the second. She tells us that since day one, she had been dedicated to her duty.
Ever since she was little, she says she considered the Queen part of the family.
Smith says she’s not sure how the monarchy will be without Queen Elizabeth the second, but notes that King Charles has big shoes to fill.
