The OPP are making some changes to how it chooses which towing companies to call when they need to move a vehicle.
Among the changes, towing companies are now required to complete an electronic criminal record check and provide an agency letter acknowledging the new requirement.
Towing services will need to either apply or reapply with their local detachment by October 15th in order to be on the Tow List for next year.
Only towing services on a detachment’s official Tow List will be used for police requested tows.
