There’s a limited number of tickets available if you want to see the Stanley Cup when it comes to Petawawa next week.
Shawn Allard grew up in Petawawa and is the skills development coach for the Colorado Avalanche.
Allard will have a military escort in a light armoured vehicle (LAV) and address the crowd outside the Civic Centre before the trophy is brought inside with a photo booth.
The event will be hosted on the Civic Centre arena floor from 6:00pm to 11:00pm on Tuesday, August 30th.
Only 1,200 people will be able to get tickets.
Admission to the event is by donation.
Money raised from the event will go towards the Petawawa Civic Centre Fundraising Committee.
