Did you know the Renfrew Fair has one of the largest agricultural aspects of all the fairs in Ontario?
General Manager Judy Dobec says it’s important to show off our local farmer’s efforts when the gates open for the September 8th weekend.
Some highlights from the agricultural side of the schedule include the Heavy and Miniature Horse Show on the Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th, horse pulls throughout the weekend, as well as the 4-H Dairy, Sheep, and Beef shows.
Dobec notes the fair not only has plenty of farm animals on display but also crafts, crops, and more.
She adds that events like the Steer, Lamb, and Hog sale at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 10th will highlight young farmers within our community.
Advanced passes for the Renfrew Fair are on sale until September 2nd, with the event running from September 8th through to the 11th.
Head to the Renfrew Fair’s website to learn more and find out how to get your tickets.
