The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak at Valley Manor in Barry’s Bay.
The outbreak has resulted in a number of staff and resident infections including three suspected deaths.
Valley Manor, the health unit, local paramedics, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and other partners are working together to reduce the spread in the community.
Valley Manor is looking for any residents who are willing to volunteer their time to help staff support residents.
