The perpetrators of domestic violence don’t seem to care much about either the individuals it harms or the negative publicity it attracts.
There were ten domestic disputes the past week investigated by OPP in Arnprior and Renfrew.
Two of the incidents involved use of a weapon.
One accused has been charged with assault with a weapon contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code.
The individual was released on an Undertaking and will appear in Renfrew Court on August 17th.
A second accused is also charged with weapons assault, to which is added mischief and uttering threat counts- as well as five counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
