Community Living Renfrew County South took part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics just before noon on Tuesday.
Miranda Hawkins, a Support Worker helping on site, tells myFM that three different flag bearers led the way through Downtown Renfrew.
Hawkins says their part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics helped to raise money for a good cause.
While the weather and COVID-19 concerns kept their contingent small, Hawkins says the event was still well received.
The day wrapped up near noon with a barbeque lunch at the Renfrew OPP detachment on O’Brien Road.
