Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement covering the entire Ottawa Valley today. Weather officials say that total rainfall amounts of 25 to 50 mm are expected. Thunderstorms are also a possibility throughout the region today as a cold front moves in from the west. The rain is expected to end overnight in the wake of the cold front.
