Chris Kyte of Renfrew Pride is hoping for good weather on Sunday, June 12th for their Pride Picnic in Low Square.
Kyte adds that the downtown event, which starts at 11am on the day, is free to attend and while donation jars will be on hand, tips are not required to enjoy any of the activities on hand.
On the topic of activities, Kyte filled myFM in on just some of the all-ages activities in the works.
Kyte thanks the many sponsors for the Picnic, adding it was important for the event introducing Renfrew Pride to the community to be free of charge.
She also says support for the local LGBTQ2S+ community from the Town and it’s council has been superb since Renfrew first flew the Pride Flag unprompted in 2019.
The Low Square Pride Picnic runs from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, June 12th and is free for all to attend.
